GPS Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced, process-driven Quality Manager to lead and develop all quality and compliance activities across the site based in Halifax. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Quality professional with strong ISO knowledge and auditing experience to make a real impact within a growing operation.

The Role

As Quality Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the company's Quality Management Systems, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, and driving continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing process. You will work closely with production, engineering, and senior management teams to ensure quality standards are achieved and maintained across all departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the company Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Lead internal and external ISO audits
  • Ensure compliance with relevant ISO standards and customer requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes
  • Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective/preventative actions
  • Develop and monitor quality procedures, KPIs, and reporting systems
  • Conduct supplier and process audits where required
  • Support production teams in improving quality performance and reducing waste
  • Liaise with customers regarding quality-related matters

The Candidate

  • Previous experience in a Quality Manager position within manufacturing
  • Strong process-driven mindset
  • Qualified and experienced with ISO standards and auditing
  • Internal and/or Lead Auditor qualification advantageous
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
