GPS are looking for an experienced CNC Turner Machinist to join the evening shift team. You’ll be working on cutting-edge components using advanced CNC technology in a clean, well-organized facility. As a CNC Turner/Setter, you’ll play a key role in producing high-specification, small-to-medium batch components. This is a hands-on role where your expertise will directly impact quality and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Set and operate CNC Turning machines (Fanuc controls) to tight tolerances
- Work with premium materials: Stainless Steel, Titanium, Inconel, Aluminium, Nylon
- Accurately record job timings in the ERP system
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization (6S)
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Proven experience in CNC Turning within high-precision sectors
- Skilled in setting and operating CNC machines with Fanuc controls
- Comfortable working to tight tolerances
- Apprenticeship trained or qualified by experience
- CAD/CAM familiarity is a plus, but not essential
