FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER 📍 Banbury / Oxford–Coventry Corridor 💷 Circa £39,000 + Company Car + Bonus ⏰ 37.5 hours per week | Permanent GPS Recruitment are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join an established technical service team, servicing and maintaining specialist medical equipment at customer sites. Your primary territory will be between Oxford and Coventry, with flexibility to provide national coverage when demand requires. The role involves up to 50% travel, with occasional overnight stays. THE ROLE • Service, maintain and repair specialist medical equipment • Carry out planned preventative maintenance • Fault-find and diagnose technical issues • Manage service visits across your territory • Complete accurate service reports • Build strong relationships with customers • Work independently while supporting the wider technical team The client's specification places particular emphasis on hands-on service engineering, customer relationships, fault finding, service targets and the ability to work independently. ABOUT YOU You'll ideally have an HNC or equivalent Engineering qualification, along with practical service/maintenance experience and strong fault-finding skills. Experience with medical equipment would be advantageous, but we're also interested in engineers from other relevant technical service backgrounds. You'll need a full UK driving licence and be comfortable travelling as part of the role.
