What Are We Looking For? Among our many roles on offer, our in-house design team is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our business in Bristol. You will take on a leading role in aspects of projects from scoping and detailed design right through to implementation, ensuring compliance with Client Specifications and current regulatory standards, with a strong focus on low-carbon solutions.

Some of Your Key Duties Include:

  • Produce design drawings and schematics for client projects
  • Perform technical calculations for project delivery
  • Carry out the planning and implementation of the project
  • Provide outline and detailed engineering from inception to completion of schemes utilising design partners, in hours resources and site service personnel.
  • Liaise with clients, engineering staff or where necessary Design Manager to ensure designs are approved in accordance with the timescales stipulated within the contract/programme.

What Do You Need?

  • Degree/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Knowledge of British and European design standards
  • Prior experience of working as an Electrical Engineer in either a design office or in a construction environment
  • Well-versed in AutoCAD
