Temporary Audit Senior Role in a Mid-Tier Firm in London with Financial Services Clients.

Lucrative Daily Rate and Hybrid Working - 3 days in London office. Immediate Start through to June.

GPN Recruitment are working with a highly regarded mid-tier accountancy firm in London who are looking for an experienced Audit Senior to join them on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to a specialist financial services portfolio, supporting a well-established team during a busy period. While banking experience is advantageous, the firm is open to candidates with broader financial services audit experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading and delivering audit assignments across a financial services client base.
  • Reviewing work completed by junior staff and providing guidance where needed.
  • Liaising directly with clients and acting as a key point of contact on engagements.
  • Working closely with Managers and Partners.
  • Ensuring audits are completed efficiently and to a high standard within tight deadlines.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Fully qualified ACA / ACCA (or equivalent).
  • Strong external audit experience within financial services in a UK accountancy firm.
  • Exposure to banking clients is beneficial but not essential.
  • Confident leading audits from planning to completion and managing client relationships.
  • Able to start at short notice / immediately available.
