GPN Recruitment are partnering with a well‑established and highly regarded accountancy firm based in East London, who are currently seeking an experienced Audit & Accounts Senior to join them on an interim basis. This role is due to start ASAP, and will last for approximately 3 months with possibility for extension.
Key Responsibilities- Leading audits from planning to completion for clients across a broad range of sectors
- Preparing statutory accounts and tax computations
- Liaising directly with clients and building strong working relationships
- Supporting and reviewing the work of junior team members where required
- ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent) or qualified by experience
- Strong audit experience gained within a UK accountancy practice
- Confident leading audits from planning to completion
- Confident preparing statutory accounts under UK GAAP
- Ability to hit the ground running in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Lucrative hourly rate
- Immediate start available
- Build a relationship with a firm open to using contractors - could result in repeat contracts
