Due to continued growth within the Outsourcing department, the firm is seeking an experienced Outsourcing Senior / Management Accountant to join the team.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an Outsourcing Senior / Management Accountant looking to work closely with a varied portfolio of clients and take ownership of their day‑to‑day financial reporting requirements. You will act as a key point of contact for clients, supporting them with management information, financial reporting and outsourced finance function services.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Reviewing bookkeeping and transactional processing
- Preparation and review of VAT returns
- Assisting with budgeting and cash flow forecasting
- Balance sheet reconciliations and month‑end processes
- Some involvement in the preparation of statutory accounts
- Supporting clients with cloud accounting systems and financial reporting requirements
- Liaising directly with business owners and finance teams
- Supervising and reviewing the work of junior team members where appropriate
- Assisting managers and partners with ad hoc advisory projects
Qualifications & Experience
- ACA or ACCA qualification (or be close to qualification) or similar
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice outsourcing or business services team
- Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience
- Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
