GPN Recruitment is delighted to partner with a well-established firm in Central London who are looking for a Tax Manager to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced tax professional to take on a hands-on senior role, managing a varied & interesting client portfolio and gaining exposure to a wide range of UK tax matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of a portfolio of corporate clients, overseeing compliance and advisory work
- Be responsible for reviewing corporate tax returns and VAT returns
- Build strong client relationships and act as the main point of contact
- Support the team in onboarding new clients
- Support, coach and develop junior team members
- Manage billing, WIP and support efficient project delivery within agreed budgets and timescales
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- Professional qualification (ACA/ACCA or equivalent, CTA desired but not essential)
- Experience working within a UK accountancy firm
- Excellent corporate tax experience, from compliance through to advisory work
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients and being the main point of contact for clients
- Previous people management or leadership experience, with a passion for developing others
- Strong communication skills
