GPN Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and highly regarded accountancy practice based in Central London who are looking for an Audit Semi-Senior to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA or ACCA studier to join a supportive and technically strong firm offering genuine responsibility, varied client exposure and clear progression opportunities.

The role will be approximately 70% accounts and 30% audit, with the successful candidate expected to work closely with seniors on assignments. The firm works with a diverse and interesting client portfolio across sectors including renewable energy, construction-related businesses, manufacturing, gaming, charities, professional services and waste management, with turnovers ranging up to £80m.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting on audits from planning through to completion
  • Carrying out audit fieldwork both on-site and in the office
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients during assignments
  • Preparing statutory accounts under FRS102
  • Assisting in the supervision and support of junior team members
  • Identifying audit risks and ensuring compliance with accounting and audit standards
  • Building strong client relationships and delivering a high level of service
Qualifications and Skills:
  • ACA or ACCA Studier
  • Strong UK practice experience
  • Good understanding of UK accounting and audit standards
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Motivated, professional and keen to progress within practice and a desire to work in audit
