Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients
  • Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns
  • Handling tax matters for high-net-worth individuals, company directors, entrepreneurs, landlords and partnerships
  • Assisting clients with capital gains tax and other personal tax compliance matters
  • Liaising directly with HMRC regarding client queries and enquiries
  • Identifying potential tax planning opportunities and supporting senior members of the team
  • Building strong long-term relationships with clients and acting as a trusted point of contact
  • Ensuring work is completed accurately and within deadlines
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Previous experience working in a personal tax role within a UK accountancy practice
  • Strong technical knowledge of personal tax compliance
  • Experience managing a varied client portfolio
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage deadlines effectively
  • ATT qualified or studying towards CTA would be advantageous, but not essential
