GPN Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well-established and highly regarded accountancy practice in London who are looking to recruit an Audit Senior to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced audit professional to take ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completionwhile working with an impressive and varied client portfolio. The firm works with businesses across multiple sectors including property, retail, hospitality and professional services, including SMEs and large groups, with turnovers of up to £120m.
You will be joining a collaborative and supportive team within a firm that places genuine emphasis on professional development and long-term career progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead audits from planning through to completion
- Act as the main point of contact for clients during audit engagements
- Review work prepared by junior members of the team
- Manage on-site audit fieldwork and coordinate audit teams
- Identify audit issues and communicate findings clearly to managers and partners
- Build strong relationships with clients and provide high-quality service
Qualifications & Skills:
- ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent) or finalist
- Previous audit experience within a UK accountancy practice
- Strong technical knowledge of audit and accounting standards
- Experience leading audits for SME clients and larger groups
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to supervise and support junior team members
