Key responsibilities
- Lead audits from planning through to completion for clients in diverse sectors.
- Supervise and review the work of junior team members.
- Build strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact during audits.
- Manage deadlines and ensure audits are delivered on time and within budget.
- Liaise with managers and directors to communicate progress and findings.
- Prepare and review accounts where required (approx. 5% of workload).
Qualifications and Skills
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with strong audit experience in practice.
- In-depth knowledge of UK GAAP; IFRS exposure is advantageous.
- Confident leading audits for clients from planning to completion.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
