This excellent independent firm of chartered accountants are looking for an audit semi senior or senior to join their busy team. They service a wide range of clients from high net worth individuals, sole traders and family-owned businesses, to medium & large UK & overseas companies as well as a handful of listed entities. This encompasses an array of industries such as media and entertainment, retail, hospitality and much more.
Duties will include:
- Overseeing a portfolio of clients
- Being a main point of contact for clients
- Lead and coordinate the planning and management of audit assignments
- Ensure all work delivered is to an excellent standard technically & professionally.
- Train & mentor seniors and trainees to assist them work efficiently to ensure timely completion & excellent client service, identifying training & development needs.
You will be:
- Part qualified or Qualified with experience working in a recognised firm of chartered accountants
- Experience working on all stages of an audit
- Good knowledge of FRS102 and UK auditing standards
- Able to develop and maintain client relationships
- Be organised and efficient, able to work to tight deadlines
- Supervise and review the work of junior staff
