Boutique firm of chartered accountants based in London have a job vacancy for a qualified or part qualified accountant with experience working for a firm of chartered accountants. This firm are long established and boast an interesting and varied client base. You will be working on a mix of audit and accounts assignments for small and medium sized companies, predominantly based in the London area.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and performing audits, leading a team and at times working as part of the team
- Preparing & reviewing financial statements
- Preparing corporation tax computations
- Drafting management letters and reports
- Ensuring time budgets are maintained
- Maintaining client confidentiality and professional relationships
- Supervising and assisting junior staff
- Liaising with other departments to efficiently and effectively complete jobs
- Being a team player and actively partaking in technical training sessions
You will be ACA or ACCA qualified/part qualified with experience within a multi-partner practice with at least 40% audit exposure. You should be technically strong with a good knowledge of accounting and auditing standards, demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, and have the ability to build strong relationships with staff and clients. An aptitude for teamwork and problem solving, along with the ability to work under pressure, is essential.
