GPN Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well-established accountancy firm who are seeking a qualified Audit & Accounts Senior to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of audit and accounts work, and wants to work with a broad and interesting portfolio of clients in a supportive, flexible environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead audits from planning through to completion, acting as the main client contact
Prepare statutory accounts in line with UK GAAP (FRS 102 & FRS 105)
Manage a varied portfolio of clients, predominantly owner-managed businesses
Review and support junior team members where required
Provide practical, hands-on advice and build lasting client relationships
Qualifications & Skills
ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
Strong background in both audit and accounts preparation
Confident with UK GAAP, including FRS 102 & FRS 105
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Proactive and client-focused
