This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced personal tax professional seeking a client-facing management role with a varied portfolio and genuine progression opportunities. The successful candidate will work closely with a broad range of private clients, providing both compliance and advisory support, while helping to develop junior members of the team.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a diverse portfolio of private clients, including high-net-worth individuals, trusts, estates and more.
- Oversee the delivery of personal tax compliance services across a varied client base.
- Review tax returns and ensure deadlines are met across the portfolio.
- Provide advice on a wide range of personal taxation matters.
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and external advisers.
- Deliver a high level of service while ensuring work is completed efficiently and accurately.
- Identify opportunities to provide additional tax planning and advisory support.
- Liaise with HMRC regarding client matters when required.
- Support, mentor, and develop members of the tax team.
- Review work completed by junior staff and provide constructive feedback.
- Assist with workload management and resource planning.
- Support Partners and Directors with advisory projects.
- CTA qualified, or ACA / ACCA qualified with significant personal tax experience.
- Previous tax experience within a UK accountancy practice.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK personal taxation.
- Experience managing a client portfolio.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
