Full-service firm of Chartered Accountants based in the East
London/Essex area who are long established and have an excellent
reputation. The firm has diverse client base spanning a
multitude of sectors, with a particular focus on serving
owner-managed businesses and their entrepreneur owners. This firm
also cater to UK subsidiaries of large international groups.
JOB SUMMARY
This firm are looking for an Accounts Senior to join their busy
business services team, undertaking general accountancy work for
a variety of clients in different sectors.
Main Responsibilities
* Prepare statutory accounts for a range of entities, including
limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, LLPs, charities,
and groups.
* Prepare and review VAT returns, bookkeeping assignments, and
management accounts.
* Ensure all work is completed within agreed timescales and
budgets.
* Involvement in the outsource function including sending jobs to
outsource, dealing with queries and initial review from
outsource.
* Supervising the team to ensure they produce high-quality work,
are motivated to achieve high standards and that end of job
feedback is carried out for the team.
* Providing timely updates to managers and partners on issues
identified with clients
- To liaise with Tax Department and deal with any queries raised.
- Other tasks as reasonably required to ensure the smooth running
of the job/department
Requirements
- You will be fully AAT qualified or QBE.
- The successful candidate should have experience dealing with
the above areas.
* You will be able to demonstrate strong attention to detail,
organisational skills and able to balance deadlines.
* You must have have strong communication skills and be confident
using IT.
