GPN Recruitment is working with a highly regarded and long-established accountancy firm based in West London that is looking to appoint an Audit Manager as part of its continued growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced audit professional to take ownership of a varied audit portfolio, manage and mentor a team, and work closely with partners in a supportive and professional environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing a diverse portfolio of audit clients, primarily owner-managed businesses and SMEs
- Leading audits from planning to finalisation, including review of files and financial statements
- Acting as the main client contact, building strong and trusted relationships
- Managing, mentoring and reviewing the work of Audit Seniors and Juniors
- Ensuring audits are completed on time, within budget and in line with regulatory standards
- Supporting partners with workflow management and audit planning
About You:
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Currently operating at Audit Manager level or an experienced Assistant Manager ready to step up
- Strong UK practice experience with a heavy audit focus
- Confident managing teams and reviewing audit work
- Excellent communication skills
