GPN Recruitment is delighted to be working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice in London, who are looking to recruit a Senior Accountant into its Business Services team as part of continued growth.
The role will involve taking ownership of a varied client portfolio and acting as a key point of contact, working closely with managers and partners to deliver accounts and tax services.
Key Responsibilities- Preparing and reviewing statutory and management accounts
- Reviewing corporation tax computations and associated filings
- Overseeing VAT compliance and returns
- Managing a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients
- Acting as the main day-to-day contact for clients
- Reviewing work completed by junior team members
- Providing technical guidance and mentoring within the team
- ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Experienced and technically strong in preparing statutory accounts and tax returns
- Extensive experience gained within a UK accountancy firm
- Confident working directly with clients
- Competitive salary depending on experience
