This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced personal tax professional seeking a client-facing management role with a varied portfolio and genuine progression opportunities. The successful candidate will work closely with a broad range of private clients, providing both compliance and advisory support, while helping to develop junior members of the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of private clients, including high-net-worth individuals, trusts, estates and more.
  • Oversee the delivery of personal tax compliance services across a varied client base.
  • Review tax returns and ensure deadlines are met across the portfolio.
  • Provide advice on a wide range of personal taxation matters.
  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and external advisers.
  • Deliver a high level of service while ensuring work is completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Identify opportunities to provide additional tax planning and advisory support.
  • Liaise with HMRC regarding client matters when required.
  • Support, mentor, and develop members of the tax team.
  • Review work completed by junior staff and provide constructive feedback.
  • Assist with workload management and resource planning.
  • Support Partners and Directors with advisory projects.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • CTA qualified, or ACA / ACCA qualified with significant personal tax experience.
  • Previous tax experience within a UK accountancy practice.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK personal taxation.
  • Experience managing a client portfolio.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
