GPN Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a well-established, multi-partner accountancy firm in Central London who are looking to appoint an Audit Accounts Semi-Senior to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA or ACCA part-qualified accountant looking to develop within a supportive and progressive firm, working with an interesting and varied client portfolio across sectors including Prof Services, Property, Construction, Charities and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Blend of Audit Accounts (slightly more audit dominant)
- Assist with audits from planning through to completion stages
- Prepare statutory accounts under FRS 102
- Prepare bookkeeping, VAT returns and management accounts where required
- Build strong client relationships and act as a day-to-day point of contact
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Work closely with Managers and Partners across a broad client base
About You:
- ACA or ACCA part-qualified
- Current UK accountancy practice experience
- Audit experience is essential
- Exposure to statutory accounts preparation under UK GAAP / FRS 102
- Experience using software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks and Excel
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
- Keen to continue developing within a supportive and ambitious firm
