GPN Recruitment are partnering with a well-established, independent accountancy practice based in North London who are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Audit Senior to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice professional looking for a varied role within a friendly and supportive firm.
You'll work with a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses, limited companies, partnerships and sole traders across a range of sectors, gaining exposure to accounts, audit and tax work. The role is predominantly focused on accounts preparation and tax compliance, whilst also offering regular audit exposure (approximately 25% of the role) and the opportunity to review work prepared by junior members of the team.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for a varied portfolio of clients
- Preparing and reviewing corporation tax returns
- Preparing and reviewing VAT returns
- Preparing personal tax returns
- Working on / leading audit assignments from planning
