We are looking for a Junior Project Manager with 2–3 years of experience who is eager to grow within healthcare IT project delivery, supporting the implementation of critical software solutions in the public healthcare sector. You will join a structured project environment and work closely with both technical and clinical stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of regulated healthcare systems, particularly within Blood Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and coordination of healthcare software implementation projects
  • Assist in configuring and adapting solutions in line with agreed requirements
  • Monitor timelines, milestones and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and provide progress reporting to the Implementation Manager
  • Deliver user training sessions and support change management activities
  • Provide first-line user support during go-live and implementation phases

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–3 years of experience as a Project Manager or Project Coordinator (junior profiles welcome)
  • Experience working in healthcare or other regulated environments (NHS experience is a plus)
  • Interest in complex IT implementation projects within public healthcare
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder communication skills
  • Fluent English (Welsh language skills are a plus)

Nice to Have (Not All Mandatory)

  • Experience with Blood Bank / LIMS / BECS systems (e.g. eProgresa, MAK-System, MediWare or similar)
  • Knowledge of ISBT 128 and blood traceability standards
  • Familiarity with: Windows and/or Linux platforms, Relational databases, Tomcat or JBoss, Mirth or Rhapsody
  • Certifications such as PMP, AgilePM or ITIL

Location Requirement

Candidates must be based in Cardiff or within a 30–40 minute commuting distance.
