The successful candidate will be transporting a wide range of construction materials to construction sites, business premises and households. The business operates a modern fleet of vehicles and require a driver with a high level of care for their own safety and that of our customers. We are looking for drivers who are used to dealing the customers and have a warm, friendly and helpful manner. There is an option to be based at either our Inverurie or Westhill sites.
Responsibilities
Operate HGV vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
Deliver goods to designated locations, maintaining accurate delivery records.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
Manage flatbed loads securely, adhering to weight limits and safety standards.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered.
Maintain a clean driving record and uphold company policies at all times.
At least one year s Class 2 driving experience. Hiab (vehicle mounted crane) preferred but not essential as training will be offered to the right candidate.
