Role Description
The successful person will have the full autonomy to manage a Plumbing and Heating division within our Westhill store. You will be given a clean slate from day one to consider and build a stock profile in order to meet the requirements of the local market. As part of the National Buying Group, you will use this resource to find the right products at the best cost prices to maximise margins. You will collaborate with our marketing team to develop promotional campaigns that will generate sales leads. The role will be hands on from the beginning with help from the existing Westhill team. In the longer term, we expect to hire new colleagues to work exclusively in the P&H division.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an effective sales strategy to find new business and continued growth in the plumbing and heating sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Be the driving force behind your part of the business.
- Identify the right stock and negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best cost prices.
Qualifications
- You will have an extensive product knowledge in plumbing, heating and HVAC systems.
- Have a strong will to succeed and be completely focused on achieving and exceeding sales & margin targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
