An exciting vacancy has arisen for a PA to join the team at Great Portland Estates plc (GPE) supporting the Development Director and Development Management Team. This role will support the Development Director and the wider Development Management team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The successful candidate will have exceptional organisational, communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to liaise with a wide range of parties and work collaboratively with colleagues.
GPE is a central London property investment and development company quoted on the London Stock Exchange. The company employs around 145 people and owns around £2.5 billion of real estate, primarily commercial but with some retail and a small amount of residential, all in central London. The business focuses on acquiring, managing and repositioning properties to unlock value and deliver performance.

Responsibilities- PA duties to Development Director
- Maintain a good working knowledge of current projects and key contacts
- Build internal and external networks to assist with email and diary management
- Act as an ambassador for the Development Director at all times
- Assist in managing the team’s diary, organise meetings, and book meeting rooms
- Adjust diaries for conflicting priorities and short-notice changes as required
- Arrange meetings end-to-end (attendee availability, venues, facilities, travel where relevant) to ensure smooth running
- Be the main point of contact for attendees and represent GPE to external and internal stakeholders
- Ensure team members are on time for meetings and track holidays
- Assist with document preparation for Executive Committee and Board meetings using PowerPoint
- Maintain version control and quick retrieval of documents
- Provide pro-active, value-added support as a Team PA
- Coordinate with other Team PAs to ensure cover during working hours and absences
- Maintain filing systems (including SharePoint) and prepare CPD logs
- Oversee invoices and liaise with Accounts
