GPDQ is seeking an experienced and personable GP to join our growing private primary care service based in Palmers Green, North London. This role combines face-to-face private GP clinics with the opportunity to undertake remote consulting sessions across our wider digital healthcare network. We are looking for a clinician who is confident managing private patients, communicates exceptionally well, and is comfortable delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in both in-person and remote settings. This is an excellent opportunity for a GP seeking flexible weekend work within a well-supported, modern clinical environment with strong governance and operational backing.
Main Duties
- Conduct face-to-face private GP consultations at our North London clinic
- Deliver remote GP consultations where required
- Manage acute and chronic primary care presentations
- Arrange investigations, referrals, prescriptions, and follow-up plans
- Work collaboratively with pharmacists, specialists, and diagnostics teams
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records
- Adhere to GPDQ clinical governance and operational standards
Essential requirements
- GMC registered GP with license to practice
- Minimum 2 years post-CCT GP experience
- Experience working independently in primary care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong clinical decision-making ability
- Comfortable with both face-to-face and remote consulting
- Able to travel reliably to the N13 clinic location within a reasonable timeframe
- High standards of professionalism, documentation, and patient care
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and clinical governance
Desirable Experience
- Previous private GP experience
- Experience using digital consultation platforms
- Interest in preventative medicine and continuity of care
- Experience managing higher-expectation patient groups/corporate clients
- Ability to work flexibly across multiple service types
- Familiarity with referral pathways, diagnostics, and private prescribing
