Responsibilities
- Work closely with partners and senior attorneys in the firm's Civil Litigation practice group.
- Handle a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters including but not limited to commercial disputes, personal injury cases, employment litigation, and contract disputes.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Participate in all stages of litigation, including discovery, hearings, trials, and alternative dispute resolution.
- Collaborate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams to provide comprehensive legal counsel.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in Virginia.
- 1-3 years of civil litigation experience at a reputable law firm or relevant legal setting.
- Strong understanding of civil procedure, legal research, and excellent legal writing skills.
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
