GP World have an amazing new GP opportunity located in Somerset within an Out of Hours service. The service offers a great continuity of shifts for ongoing locums who are keen to work across multiple sites in Taunton, Yeovil and other locations. The diverse patient population presents a variety of medical and social needs, delivering innovative and sustainable care for all.
Shift Patterns: Various shifts from 6 - 12 hours a day
Days: Offers weekdays, weekends and overnight shifts
Rates: £90 - 110 per hour depending on experience
Start date: ASAP
Requirements:
- GMC registration with license to practice in the UK
- On the GMC’s GP register minimum 12 months experience
- Professional medical indemnity insurance coverage appropriate to role
Role Purpose and Skills:
- Make autonomous clinical decisions, assessing and managing patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
- Maintain clear, accurate, and contemporaneous consultation records to agreed standards.
- Record clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards.
- Manage the case list effectively to reduce demand on face-to-face services including ambulance dispositions, AEs and UCCs/MIUs and OOHs.
