Veterinary Surgeon - Small Animal

We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our long-standing team here at GP Vets. You will be based at our practice in Basingstoke joining three vets, a well-established nursing team and a support team of receptionists.

We would welcome applicants with a medical or surgical bias and case work up as well as certificate/CPD is actively encouraged and supported. Our caseload mainly consists of SA however you can see some exotics if this is an interest of yours. We want to ensure you feel supported, we can offer you the encouragement, challenge and support to achieve your personal and professional aspirations.

Any other preference such as consulting only, particular days off, mornings, evenings – just ask – we can discuss the options.

Typically, the full-time position is 40 hours with a Saturday morning rota and no OOH. We would also welcome part time applicants., We have separate cat and dog kennels, 2 consult rooms and an ops theatre and we are well equipped with Digital X-Ray, Idexx ProCyteOne, Catalyst and brand new Ultrasound machine and dental radiography.
