We’re looking to hire a Graduate Services Lead to be responsible for supporting Graduates, Interns and summer placement students for all engineering programmes across the UK. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll drive co-ordination of the programmes and associated events. This is a hybrid role, based at the client’s development centre in Derby. Occasional travel to other locations around the UK is also required.

Job Summary
  • Support new recruits by delivering the corporate induction and ‘keep warm’ sessions to introduce them to their key contacts and give an overview of their programme.
  • Co-ordinate the corporate induction event including coordinating guest speakers, booking venues and facilities and monitoring enrolment.
  • Monitor the Site and HS&E inductions, ensuring records are updated appropriately and timely, and are retained for audit functions as required.
  • Work with the client to facilitate the allocation of Career Coaches and Buddies.
  • Run standardised meetings with Coaches and Buddies, to ensure a consistent approach, keeping records of attendance and action points.
  • Manage and facilitate the annual standardised Graduate celebration events, ensuring all learners across UK sites experience a consistent and high-quality celebration upon successfully completing their programme.
  • Create and implement training plans from inception of the Graduate & Intern programmes, working closely with the Emerging Talent Program Leads and the relevant business.
  • Collate performance ratings and support the calibration across cohorts.
  • Manage the annual graduate pay review data process.
  • Be the central point of contact and escalation for all Graduate and Intern queries, managing all operational queries and escalating to the client team when required.
  • Act as the first point of contact for internal business operations, including Career Coaches and gig managers, maintaining regular communication regarding programme processes and timelines.
  • Record and manage accurate data and ensure that requested data reports are delivered within the specified times, adhering to a right-first-time approach.
  • Attend site/business operational governance boards on a quarterly basis as required.
Qualifications
  • Experience working in a training organisation/working with graduate or similar programmes.
  • Excellent administration and data management skills.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office experience (Word, Advanced Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Client Services experience.
  • A self-motivated and effective team player who possesses excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Car owner and driver with a willingness to travel to other locations (Bristol, London and Scotland every 8-12 weeks).
  • Professional attitude.
