GP Strategies Scotland Ltd is a market leader Apprenticeship training provider who deliver Apprenticeships across the whole of Scotland within the IT, Digital and Business sectors. We are currently recruiting for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our growing business development team in Scotland.
The successful individual will be responsible for overseeing the complete sales process to attract new clients. This process ranges from potential recruitment, identifying and securing new business leads and also managing key accounts for recurring business.
Experience in a business development role and a background in IT would be preferred, but not essential as training will be given. This is a hybrid role, based at our office in Stirling, with some travel across Scotland.
Job Summary- Identify new sales opportunities in designated market areas
- Generate leads and engage with prospects
- Build, manage and develop relationships with clients
- Follow-up clients and respond to queries to assure continued satisfaction
- Arrange and attend meetings with clients and prospects
- Prepare reports on sales activities
- Build local employer networks and maintain knowledge of the labour market
- Industry experience within the IT industry is preferred but not essential
- Sales orientated
- Self-motivated and resilient
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- This is a client facing role and will require travel across Scotland so a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential
