Overview
GP Strategies Scotland Ltd is a market leader Apprenticeship training provider delivering Apprenticeships across Scotland in the IT, Digital and Business sectors. We are recruiting a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our growing business development team in Scotland. This is a hybrid role based at our office in Stirling, with some travel across Scotland.
Responsibilities
- Identify new sales opportunities in designated market areas
- Generate leads and engage with prospects
- Build, manage and develop relationships with clients
- Follow up with clients and respond to queries to ensure continued satisfaction
- Arrange and attend meetings with clients and prospects
- Prepare reports on sales activities
- Build local employer networks and maintain knowledge of the labour market
Qualifications and Experience
- Industry experience within the IT industry is preferred but not essential
- Sales orientated
- Results driven
- Self-motivated and resilient
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- This is a client-facing role and will require travel across Scotland; a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential
