Overview

We are seeking an Early Careers Development Lead who will oversee the progress of apprentices within the specified programme, ensuring the quality of delivery meets the standards set by the client, EPA, funding agencies, and regulatory bodies. This is an office-based role at our client\’s site in Derby, United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and support the Client and GP Strategies Management team with the delivery of KPIs within the designated programme and business area.
  • Deliver and develop own skills and professional qualifications to support Apprentice training in a blended learning approach that includes coaching individual and group training.
  • Undertake a tripartite review with the Lead Provider ensuring all apprentices are reviewed using the individual learning plan every 8 or 12 weeks as agreed with the client and the Lead Provider.
  • Ensure Apprentice data is managed efficiently with no gaps or incorrect data and be accountable for learners on holdings reports.
  • Record and manage Apprentice absence, holiday processes and expenses using the client systems.
  • Attend best practice and standard meetings to meet the requirements of the ADL role.
  • Act as the single point of contact for your specified Lead Providers, managing operational issues and escalating to the Apprentice Program Lead as appropriate.
  • Manage operational governance including quarterly governance board meetings with business leads.
  • Ensure that Equality, Diversity, Health, Safety, Safeguarding and Quality Policies are adhered to within your area of responsibility and report any non-compliance to your manager.

What We Need

  • A self-motivated and effective team player who possesses excellent communication and organisational skills with previous apprenticeships/people management/teaching experience.
  • Business or Engineering Apprenticeship/qualification (other disciplines will be considered).
  • Strong administration and data management skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management.
  • Car owner and driver with willingness to travel to other locations if necessary.
  • Professional attitude.
  • Current sector occupational competence and evidence of ongoing CPD practice at the appropriate level.
  • Excellent standard of secondary education.
  • Proficient user of MS Office.

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

  • PTLLS Level 3 or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Professional qualification/degree.
  • A good understanding of safeguarding procedures.
