We’re looking for an Early Careers Development Lead to champion the progress of apprentices within a key client programme. You’ll be the driving force behind their development journey—coaching, mentoring, and ensuring every learner receives an exceptional experience that meets client, regulatory, and quality expectations.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Coaching and mentoring a cohort of apprentices, guiding them through their programme and supporting them to achieve their full potential.
  • Managing all associated data accurately and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.
  • Supporting the client and GP Strategies management team to deliver KPIs within your programme area.
  • Delivering and developing your own skills and qualifications to support high‑quality, blended learning—both one‑to‑one and group-based.
  • Conducting tripartite reviews every 8–12 weeks, ensuring each apprentice’s Individual Learning Plan is up to date and aligned with Lead Provider expectations.
  • Ensuring apprentice data is complete, accurate, and well‑maintained, including responsibility for your learner holding reports.
  • Managing apprentice absence, holiday processes, and expenses through client systems.
  • Attending best‑practice and standards meetings to support continuous improvement.
  • Acting as the single point of contact for your designated Lead Providers, escalating operational issues where needed.
  • Overseeing operational governance, including quarterly governance board meetings with business leads.
  • Upholding Equality, Diversity, Health & Safety, Safeguarding, and Quality policies, and reporting any concerns promptly.

What you’ll bring:

We’re looking for a confident, proactive professional who thrives in a people‑focused environment. You’ll be a natural communicator with strong organisational skills and a passion for supporting others. You will also have:

  • Experience in apprenticeships, people management, coaching, or teaching.
  • A Business or Engineering apprenticeship/qualification (other disciplines considered).
  • Strong administration and data management capabilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • A professional, collaborative approach.
  • A full driving licence and access to a car, with willingness to travel if required.
  • Up‑to‑date sector competence and evidence of ongoing CPD.
  • A strong standard of secondary education.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.

It would be great if you also have:

  • PTLLS Level 3 or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • A relevant professional qualification or degree.
  • A solid understanding of safeguarding procedures.
