This is an office-based role at our client\’s site in Derby, United Kingdom.
Job Description
We are seeking an Early Careers Development Lead who will oversee the progress of apprentices within the specified programme, ensuring the quality of delivery meets the standards set by the client, EPA, funding agencies, and regulatory bodies.
About The Role
You\’ll coach and mentor a cohort of Apprentices, supporting them towards achievement of their Apprenticeship programme, whilst accurately managing all associated data and stakeholder relationships.
- Assist and support the Client and GP Strategies Management team with KPI delivery within your designated programme and business area.
- Deliver and develop your skills and professional qualifications to support Apprentice training in a blended learning approach, including coaching individual and group training.
- Undertake tripartite reviews with the Lead provider, ensuring all apprentices are reviewed using the individual learning plan every 8 or 12 weeks as agreed.
- Manage Apprentice data efficiently, ensuring no gaps or incorrect data, and be accountable for learners on your holdings reports.
- Ensure understanding of recording and managing Apprentice absence, holiday, and expenses using client systems.
- Attend best practice and standard meetings as required.
- Be the single point of contact for your Lead Providers, managing operational issues and raising them to the Apprentice Program Lead as needed.
- Manage operational governance, including quarterly governance board meetings.
- Ensure adherence to policies on Equality, Diversity, Health, Safety, Safeguarding, and Quality, reporting non-compliance to your manager.
What We Need
A self-motivated and effective team player with excellent communication and organizational skills, previous apprenticeships/people management/teaching experience preferred.
- Business or Engineering Apprenticeship/qualification (other disciplines considered)
- Strong administration and data management skills
- Excellent stakeholder management
- Car owner and driver, willing to travel if necessary
- Professional attitude
- Current sector occupational competence and ongoing CPD evidence at the appropriate level
- Excellent secondary education
- Proficient in MS Office
Ideally, You’ll Also Have
- PTLLS Level 3 or equivalent teaching qualification
- Professional qualification/Degree
- Understanding of safeguarding procedures
