Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Welder / Fitter to join our Production team in Warwick. You will be responsible for producing high-quality welded and fabricated assemblies, ensuring work is completed to specification, on time, and in line with BS EN ISO 9001 quality standards. This role requires a strong focus on quality, teamwork, health & safety, and flexibility across the production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out MIG & MAG welding and fabrication of steel components (2mm-10mm)
  • Build, tack, and complete fabrication work from engineering drawings
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and No Fault Forward (NFF) requirements
  • Identify and correct visual defects in fabrication work
  • Work collaboratively with team leaders and colleagues to meet production targets
  • Maintain high standards of health & safety, including correct use of PPE
  • Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives
  • Work flexibly across production areas when required
  • Complete accurate sign-off of work in line with company systems

About You

Essential:

  • Experience in MIG & MAG welding
  • Experience in medium-heavy steel fabrication (2mm-10mm)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Ability to fabricate, tack, and complete welded assemblies
  • Strong attention to quality and detail
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including confined spaces and variable positions

Desirable:

  • Welding/fabrication qualifications and certifications
  • BS EN 287 coded welding approval (multi-position)
  • Experience using a pendant crane
  • Knowledge of cellular manufacturing processes
  • Basic computer literacy
