The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Commercial Paint Sprayer / Prepper to join a busy manufacturing team in Warwick.
This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for preparing, masking, and spraying large commercial vehicles to a high standard while working to production schedules and quality requirements. You'll play a key role in ensuring vehicles leave the paint shop with a first-class finish whilst maintaining excellent health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicles for painting, including masking and surface preparation.
- Spray large commercial vehicles to a high-quality standard.
- Work efficiently to production schedules and takt times.
- Carry out general paint shop duties as required.
- Maintain quality standards and identify any issues proactively.
- Follow all health and safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high housekeeping standards.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production targets.
- Operate within company procedures and quality standards.
Essential
- Previous experience in a commercial paint spraying or vehicle preparation role.
- Experience preparing surfaces prior to paint application.
- Knowledge of production processes and working to quality standards.
- Understanding of health and safety requirements when working with paints and solvents. xgikmsk
