We are currently recruiting for experienced BIW Technicians to join a prestigious automotive manufacturer based in Gaydon. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-end automotive environment supporting prototype and production vehicle builds, carrying out detailed body preparation and rectification work to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sanding, filling, and priming vehicle body panels
- Identifying and correcting low spots and high spots
- Flattening and preparing panels for paint and finishing processes
- Carrying out small reworks and cosmetic rectification
- Working to tight tolerances and high-quality standards
- Supporting build and manufacturing teams where required
Requirements:
- Previous experience within BIW, body preparation, or automotive finishing
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Experience working within automotive manufacturing, prototype, or motorsport environments preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of body panel preparation techniques
