Benefits include: Up to £14.00 per hour Shift allowance of 25% payrate increase after 22:00pm Weekend overtime available in peak times starting from 25%+ 28 days holiday - Inclusive of Bank Holidays Free on-site parking Employer pension contribution Excellent training and development opportunities We are currently seeking a Quality Team Leader to join our outstanding quality management team based onsite at one of our most prestigious automotive OEM\'s. Reporting to the Shift Manager, the Quality Team Leader, will be responsible for leading and coaching a team of between 5 - 10 inspectors, which can increase during peak times. You will work along-side management to successfully organise and lead the hour-to-hour function of designated projects within associated Gobel and Partner areas. You will also support the Customer Protection Team by assisting with administrative duties, including writing work instructions, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring documentation aligns with customer quality expectations. Working hours are across a permanent late shift: Mon - Fri - 15:20pm - 11:50pm Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Leading and coaching a team of quality professionals Reviewing handover from previous shift and assigning tasks to the Quality Inspectors and Storemen in accordance. Ensuring all inspectors have the relevant tooling, material flow, PPE and understanding to work to the required Test Plan / WES. Controlling all NOK parts found during the project, ensuring the packaging and stacking of parts are correct. Working alongside the area supervisor to identify and promptly resolve issues, with minimal or no effect to production. Supporting on the set up of new projects Supporting the Customer Protection Team with admin-related tasks such as drafting work instructions and carrying out risk assessments Leading from the front by carrying out inspection duties alongside the team as and when required. The ideal quality team leader will have the following experience: Proven leadership skills gained within a Quality Environment Computer literate, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Excellent communication skills Ability to resolve issues promptly, within a professional manner. Organised, resilient, with the ability to think outside the box. Nice to have experience, but not essential: Experience gained within Automotive Previous experience using SAP Knowledge of writing work instructions This is a permanent position with progression opportunities available.
