MEWPS Industrial Training Instructor (Mobile Elevating Work Platforms)
Location: Flexible Site Coverage – UK – Multiple Aerospace Manufacturing Sites
Rate: £24.00 £40.00 per hour (DOE)
Contract Type: Contract or Permanent
About the Role
We are seeking experienced Industrial Training Instructors to deliver high-quality training across multiple UK aerospace manufacturing sites for a global organisation.
In this role, you ll play a vital part in ensuring a safe, compliant, and competent workforce by delivering certified training programs that meet UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE) requirements and industry standards.
Your expertise will help maintain operational safety, reduce workplace incidents, ensure legal compliance, and enable personnel to operate equipment safely and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Deliver accredited training programs to aerospace manufacturing personnel.
- Ensure all training meets regulatory, accreditation, and organisational standards.
- Promote best practices in safety and equipment operation.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of training delivery.
- Support the continuous improvement of training materials and methods.
Courses to Deliver
We are looking for instructors qualified to deliver one or more of the following:
- Boom/Cherry Picker
- Scissor Lifts
- Aircraft-Specific Lifts
We are also hiring for additional instructor roles across other disciplines such as Forklift Trucks, Health and Safety, Aircraft-Specific Equipment, Overhead Cranes, and Handling Equipment.

Applicants should hold at least one of the following (or equivalent):
- ISO 9001:2000
- BS 7171 EN 361
- CITB GE 700/29
- HASAWA 1974
- PUWER 1998
- LOLER 1998
