Job Description

We are seeking an Automotive prepper to join our team working in Body In White on pre painted panels. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality service.\\n\\nThe project will involve working in Body in White(BIW), rectifying and repairing prep issues before the car moves onto the paint shop.\\n\\nPrevious experience as a paint sprayer, prepper or in a similar role is preferred\\n\\nExperience in an automotive environment is essential.\\n\\nExperience across all aspects of automotive/industrial painting including prepping, polishing, sanding and priming.\\n\\nKnowledge of different types of paints, primers, and finishes\\n\\nAbility to work independently and follow instructions accurately\\n\\nAttention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work\\n\\nRequirements\\n\\nPrior experience in automotive prepping is essential\\n\\nStrong attention to detail\\n\\nAbility to work efficiently and independently\\n\\nCustomer service skills to interact with clients effectively\\n\\nAbility to commute/relocate: CV35\\n\\nPay\\n\\n£22.00 per hour (inside IR35)\\n\\nShift Allowance\\nHours:\\n\\n2 shift rotation\\n\\n06:00am – 14:00pm(Mon-Fri) / 14:00pm – 01:00am(Mon-Thurs)\\n\\n15% Increase in hourly pay rate for night shift.\\n\\nJob Type: Temporary contract\\n\\nContract length: 6 – 12 Months\\n\\nPay: £22.00 per hour\\n\\nExpected hours: 40 per week\\n\\nBenefits:\\n\\nFree parking\\n\\nOn-site parking\\n\\nCanteen\\n\\nExperience:\\n\\npolishing/prepping: 1 year (required)\\n\\nIf this role is of interest to you and you have the relevant skillset to match, please submit your CV today!\\n\\nEstablished in 1994, G&P Quality Management is a world-leading provider of quality management services to the manufacturing industry, primarily in the automotive, aerospace and off-highway sectors.
