We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Engineer to join a prestigious automotive manufacturing environment supporting high-performance vehicle production and continuous operational improvement. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong quality professional with experience across manufacturing processes, quality systems, validation, and continuous improvement to play a key role within a fast-paced production environment.
Working closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Paint, Controls, Logistics, and Quality teams, you will support the optimisation and governance of production quality systems while driving process improvement, compliance, and operational efficiency across the manufacturing lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Support and optimise manufacturing and inspection processes to improve quality, repeatability, and efficiency
- Drive continuous improvement activities across production and quality operations
- Support process validation, equipment qualification, and quality system activities
- Investigate quality concerns, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Work cross-functionally to ensure quality requirements are embedded into manufacturing operations
- Support process controls, inspection methods, and quality standards in line with industry best practice
- Assist with audits, compliance activities, and quality reporting
- Help identify opportunities for automation, digitalisation, and operational improvement within manufacturing environments
- Collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to support stable manufacturing performance and product quality
- Previous experience within a Quality Engineering role in automotive, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and process improvement methodologies
- Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO standards, and regulated manufacturing environments
- Experience supporting validation, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively within fast-paced production environments
- Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing experience advantageous
