About the Role

We are looking for skilled and detail-focused Wiring Harness Re-Workers to join our team in Newport. Youll be responsible for diagnosing and fixing common snags, ensuring high-quality electrical assemblies, and supporting production with accurate routing, termination, and connector work.

Job Title: Wiring Harness Re-Worker

Location: Newport, Wales

Contract Type: Contract

Hours: 7am -4pm,6am 2pmor2 pm 10pm

Pay Rate: £22.00 – £24.00ph

Key Responsibilities

  • Recover common snags picked up at line inspection (e.g. cables not terminated, incorrect routing, wrong orientation of Harting connectors, re-routing issues).
  • Routing and termination of terminal blocks.
  • Work with connectors including pinning, crimping, and final termination (Harting modular connectors).
  • Distribution, ferruling, and termination of circuit breakers.
  • Ensure all work is completed to quality standards and in line with specifications.

  • Previous experience in wiring harness assembly or rework.
  • Skilled in crimping, pinning, and connector assembly (Harting connectors experience highly desirable).
  • Ability to read and follow wiring diagrams/schematics.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
