Are you an experienced Transport & Logistics Coordinator with a background in transport, supply chain, or shipment tracking? We are supporting a premium automotive manufacturer in their search for a proactive and organised logistics professional on a 6 month contract, to join their growing operation based in Chichester. This is a fast-paced role coordinating inbound and outbound transport activity across suppliers, warehouses, planners, dealers, and logistics providers.
You will be the key point of contact for daily shipment updates, tracking, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication, ensuring everything moves efficiently across the supply chain.
- £14.50 - £15.00 per hour (PAYE Pay Rate)
- ~6 month contract with strong potential for extension

- ~ Flexible working hours around a typical 08:00am - 16:00pm schedule
The Logistics Coordinator will manage daily inbound and outbound shipment activity, working closely with transport providers, warehouse teams, planners, and internal stakeholders to ensure deliveries are processed, tracked, and communicated effectively.
This role requires someone who is proactive, driven, and confident challenging suppliers to maintain service levels within a rapidly growing and increasingly complex logistics operation.
- Liaise with transport providers, warehouses, planners, and dealers daily
- Challenge suppliers and logistics providers on service performance
- Support urgent and time-critical transport requests
- Travel occasionally between Chichester and Bognor sites
Background in logistics, transport, supply chain, freight forwarding, or dispatch
Experience using logistics or ERP systems
Full UK driving licence and ability to travel between sites
