We are looking for a motivated Quality Inspector / Rework Technician to join our team. This role is key in ensuring parts are inspected, reworked, and controlled effectively to maintain quality standards and keep production running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspection & Rework
- Inspect and rework parts as required.
- Manage incoming and outgoing parts on LN.
- Complete all associated daily paperwork.
Parts Storage Control
- Monitor and control incoming parts to the quality area.
- Liaise with SQE Engineers to confirm next actions.
- Action stock in line with instructions.
Hotline Support
- Handle issues raised by Hotline Team, SQEs, and 3rd arty supplier.
- Contain quality issues by liaising with suppliers, engineers, and managers.
- Physically sort, contain, or rework stock as required.
- Record all work completed with accurate documentation.
Quarantine Management
- Raise hold and reject notes for non-conforming parts.
- Provide suppliers with detailed explanations, photos, and updates.
- Manage discussions with suppliers around liability of rejected parts.
- Keep LN system updated with accurate reject data.
Waste Disposal
- Oversee parts waste disposal bins and ensure correct documentation.
- Liaise with the team to coordinate collection and movements.
