We are supporting a high-performance automotive manufacturer in Woking, Surrey, and are seeking experienced Quality professionals across multiple disciplines. Due to strong project demand, we are expanding our search to attract skilled engineers from the Midlands and surrounding areas who are open to working on-site in Surrey.
We are hiring for:
- Quality Engineers
- Supplier Quality Engineers
- Lead Supplier Quality Engineers
- NPI / Launch Engineers
These roles are full-time, site-based positions in Woking, and an accommodation allowance is provided for candidates travelling or relocating from the Midlands or surrounding areas.
Benefits Include:
- £33.00 - £36.00 per hour (Inside IR35 Umbrella)
- 36 month contracts with strong potential for extension

Role Overview:
Depending on your background, you will support or lead activities across Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or NPI/Launch. Typical responsibilities include:
- Managing supplier containment, recovery, and corrective actions
- Driving structured problem-solving (8D, 5 Whys, RCA)
- Supporting APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and GD&T compliance
- Working cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing
- Improving supplier performance across BIW, Exterior, Interior, and Composite commodities
- Leading or mentoring small engineering teams (for senior roles)
Essential Experience:
- Automotive or advanced manufacturing background
- Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, GD&T, and structured problem-solving
- Experience in supplier containment, recovery, or NPI launch activities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment
- Independent right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
