We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing facility based in Coventry.

This role is ideal for an experienced electrical maintenance engineer with a strong background in maintaining automated production equipment, robotics and laser welding systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production machinery and automated equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot and support robotic systems and automated production cells.
  • Carry out maintenance and repairs on laser welding equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair faults on pneumatic systems.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with company procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to maximise equipment reliability and production uptime.
Essential Experience
  • Time-served Electrical Maintenance Engineer or equivalent.
  • Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience maintaining robotics and automated production equipment.
  • Previous experience working with laser welding equipment.
  • Strong background in Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
  • Experience working with pneumatic systems.
  • ATEX or CompEx certification/experience is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience within an automotive, manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Ability to work independently and respond quickly to production breakdowns.
