We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing facility based in Coventry. This role is ideal for an experienced electrical maintenance engineer with a strong background in maintaining automated production equipment, robotics and laser welding systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production machinery and automated equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
- Maintain, troubleshoot and support robotic systems and automated production cells.
- Carry out maintenance and repairs on laser welding equipment.
- Diagnose and repair faults on pneumatic systems.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with company procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to maximise equipment reliability and production uptime.
Essential Experience
- Time-served Electrical Maintenance Engineer or equivalent.
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Experience maintaining robotics and automated production equipment.
- Previous experience working with laser welding equipment.
- Strong background in Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
- Experience working with pneumatic systems.
- ATEX or CompEx certification/experience is highly desirable.
- Previous experience within an automotive, manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Ability to work independently and respond quickly to production breakdowns.
