Technician (Senior Authorised Person Trained) in Coventry

We are seeking an experienced Senior Authorised Person Technician (SAP) for High Voltage systems to support safety-critical HV activities in an automotive environment.

Details:

• Pay rate: £26 per hour
• Shifts: Rotating (Morning/afternoons)
• Work type: High Voltage Battery assembly
• Contract: 6 Months

Key Responsibilities

• Act as SAP for HV systems in line with site and OEM safety rules
• Control HV isolation, re-energisation, and permit-to-work processes
• Ensure safe systems of work and compliance with HV regulations
• Provide technical oversight to APs, technicians, and contractors

Essential Requirements

• Current SAP (High Voltage) authorisation
• Proof of SAP qualification and competency (mandatory)
• Proven experience operating as an SAP in a live HV environment
• Willingness to complete interview and competency assessment

Desirable

• SAP (Senior Authorised Person)
• Automotive OEM or EV/HV experience
